Cirta Plants is a local nursery in Tomball growing indoor plants, fruit trees, cuttings and seasonal flowers. They had the stock and the growing expertise; what they didn’t have was a way to sell any of it outside the front gate. See it live at cirtaplants.com.
The problem
A nursery’s inventory changes weekly, and plants are a considered purchase: buyers want to know how big it is, how much sun it needs, whether it survives their zone, and whether they can pick it up today or have it shipped. None of that fits in a Facebook post, and phone calls don’t scale during spring rush.
What we built
A full ecommerce store built around how people actually shop for plants: filters for distance, category, pickup versus shipping, and price; product pages that answer the grower questions up front (light, water, size, edible or ornamental) and back them with a healthy-arrival guarantee; collections like “perfect for your zone” that use the shopper’s ZIP; and a local-pickup path for customers who’d rather drive over.
The result
Sales increased 700% after the store launched. The site also holds up under a catalog full of plant photography: 97 Lighthouse performance, a 0.3-second first paint, and zero layout shift, so nothing jumps while a customer is reaching for “add to cart.”
